01Who we are

02Personal data we collect

We do not ask for sensitive data such as passwords, bank card numbers or health information through this website.

03Why we use your data

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and schedule meetings
• To deliver the services you engage us for and send invoices
• To send service updates you asked for; marketing messages only with your consent
• To understand website usage and improve our pages
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to prevent misuse of our website

04Consent and withdrawal

Where we rely on your consent, it is requested in a clear statement next to the form you submit, for the purposes listed above. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing info@uplinktech.in with the subject "Withdraw consent" or by replying STOP to our messages. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and we will stop processing within a reasonable time unless the law requires us to keep the data.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under confidentiality obligations:

• Web3Forms (form delivery) and our email provider, to receive your enquiries
• Hostinger (website hosting) and LiteSpeed cache on our hosting
• Google (Analytics, Search Console, Maps, Workspace tools) and WhatsApp, when you use those channels
• Accounting and tax professionals, and government authorities when required by law

Some of these providers may store data outside India, as permitted under Indian law.

06How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 3 years after our last contact
• Client and billing records: for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law (generally 8 years)
• Job applications: up to 1 year, unless you join us
• Analytics data: as set in our analytics tools (up to 14 months)

After these periods we delete or anonymise the data.

07Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can:

• Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
• Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied

08Security and breaches

We use HTTPS, access controls, backups and reputable service providers to protect your data. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Rules, 2025, explaining what happened, the likely impact and the steps we are taking.

Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data without verifiable parental consent.
